Hi. I need some help preparing for the New England Folk Festival,
which you should all by now know will be held this coming weekend,
April 22 - 24, in the Natick High School.

I need one or two people to come into downtown Boston (North End)
tommorrow afternoon, around 1:00, to help for a couple of hours
dissasembling a contraption composed of 3/4" or 1" iron pipe, with
various fittings and so forth, and loading it into a pickup truck. If
someone HAS a pickup truck, and is free at that time, that would
simplify things...the one I'm planning on using is in New Hampshire.
Before you castigate me for not planning ahead, the person I expected
to help me got sick; the backup is buying a house and suddenly
busy...

I could also use someone who could help to install this pipe-system on
a wall (actually, three walls) in the school; simple carpentry (i.e.
hanging shelves, building bunk beds/lofts) experience a
plus...Thursday late afternoon/evening, Friday morning or early
afternoon.

I can also use someone to pickup some stuff for me -- you need to have
a large hatchback or a small truck, be willing to keep this thing in
there for a day or so and pick it up and return it to the same place
later, and be able to do so on schedule reliably unsupervised. The
"thing" is a theatrical curtain, 50' x 18', and needs to be picked up
on or after wednesday, delivered to the festival friday afternoon,
taken away from the Festival Sunday evening, and returned to the
rental place before Tuesday.

p.s. Working for me counts as being a Festival volunteer -- put in 4
hours, you get in free for the whole weekend.
