It's khaki, foam inside, still sittable and sleepable, and basically in good shape except for a few stains. According to my mother, it's still an excellent guest bed, but given the space crunch the baby has created we've opted for a guest bed that folds up! I bought this when I lived in a third floor walkup in Cambridge that required me carrying the couch vertically around the landings, so it's very light if anyone's in the same situation.
