Unto the people of the East do their Royal Majesties, Gregor and Christence
send greetings,

People of the East, as you well know, these are troubled times. We
are currently in the middle of a dispute with the Board of Directors over
their recent decisions. We need to know if you, the populace, feel that we
are representing your best interests and if you are comfortable with our
leadership during these crucial times. We recognize that the Royalty only
rule with the assent of the people and we pledge to represent you as best we
can to protect our Kingdom and it's people. The statement below is loosely
based on one that has been signed by over a thousand people of the West.
Members and non-members alike, please sign this statement that will allow us
and our heirs to act with confidence, knowing that we have the support of
our kingdom and represent it's wishes.

Gregor & Christence, King and Queen of the East.

Statement from the People of the East

We the undersigned, feel that the recent decisions at the January
meeting of the board of directors are not in the best interests of the Society
and recognize that they are symptoms of larger problems in the structure of
the Corporation itself. We further recognize that many of the problems that
the directors have tried to address are real and must have solutions in order
for our society to progress.

We call upon the Crowns and the Board of Directors to work together to
solve these problems and create a stronger, financially sound Society with a
Corporate structure that will both protect the organization and be more
responsive to it's membership.

We understand that the Royalty of the East, Gregor and Christence, and
their heirs, Lucan and Jana, are committed to serving the needs of the people
and have pledged to do their best to provide leadership during these troubled
times, to take into consideration the council of any and all of their
subjects and to represent the best interests of the Kingdom as a whole and the
people as individuals.

Recognizing these facts, we do pledge our support to the Royalty of
the East as they endeavor to seek a resolution that addresses the concerns of
both the populace and the corporation over the structure of the future of
our society. We further pledge to show our support by acting with courtesy
and honor as these are the founding principles of the society that we love.
