Subject: postage offer redux

To all who read these words, greetings from Lady Eowyn Eilonwy of Alewife
Brook, Deputy Seneschal of Carolingia.

With respect to the barony's offer to provide postage for your letters to
the Powers That Be:

As many of you are doubtless aware, three members have recently resigned
from the BoD, and have been replaced by three others. The new directors
are:
Elizabeth Johnson, 7875 Wintercress Lane, Springfield, VA 22152
Eric Mohr, PO Box 59821, Renton, WA 98058
John Fulton, 2494 Hollins, Memphis, TN 38112

Remember that sending just one letter to:
	SCA Board of Directors
	PO Box 360743
	Milpitas, CA 95036-0743
will get it distributed to all current BoD members.

The directors who have resigned are:
	Tim Moran
	Victoria Tisdale
	Karen Hatten
I will not refuse any letters addressed to them, but please note that they
have deliberately removed themselves from any possibility of acting on the
matters in contention. I therefore urge that out of courtesy, we no longer
trouble them with letters.

It is still important to write. It is still just as important for
non-paying participants to write as it is for paid members. Don't assume
that The Right (however you conceive of it) will prevail if you have not
made your opinion known to the BoD, and remember that they only require
themselves to consider individual letters. The deadline for my writ of
postage is the end of the April Council meeting -- don't miss this
fantastic, never-to-be-repeated (we sure hope not!) offer.

Eowyn, Deputy Seneschal Carolingia
