Hossein Ali Qomi stated that I have misrepresented the mandamus action
of which he is a part.  I did not intend to do so.  However, the postings
about this action leave the impression that the only way to obtain the
Corporate financial data is through the Corporation or the courts, and
this is simply untrue.  In fact, in the information obtained by Janet
are many documents and bits of information which the mandamus actions
plaintiffs claimed they believe they have no right to see if they obtain
the books of account and other corporate documents.

Janet and her group have found considerable valuable information in
the documents they obtained.  They also have found records indicating 
that a number of the items that the mandamus action seeks do not exist,
as the books have not been closed on 1993 in part because the local 
exchequers have not turned in all of their reports on schedule.  This
is not inappropriate given the method under which the Corporation has
managed its books, from one central office.

If I gave the wrong impression about the substance ofthe mandamus action,
I am sorry.  However, there is a wealth of information available to
Society members through public offices and non-Corporation locations,
and it seems silly for the mandamus action plaintiffs to so broadly
dismiss this information simply because it is not the one item they seek.
