Thanks for the chords, Ken.  :) :)   Angus, I will try to rent a copy of the
movie.  This song cries out to be shared-- especially the next time I visit
Calontir Royal.   ;)   Incidentally...might there some private joke behind the
song that the rest of us may not be privy to?  If anyone knows, please share
it!!

I am also new to this list, so let me take this opportunity to "test the
waters."  What is the general consensus of this list towards filk singing?

Personally, I find myself divided down the middle.  On the one hand, I do have
a great love for period music, and perform it at every opportunity.  On the
other...I love the way filk pieces make people laugh.   And while singing "Tam
Lin" in the original Northumbrian dialect might cause some "oo's" at the
Bardic circle, it usually takes me something akin to "Never Set the Cat On
Fire" to get me welcomed into a strange camp.

What are your feelings?
