Since the announcment of the new policy on Saturday, as you might
expect, many SCA email lists have seen a firestorm of traffic. One such
list is carolingia@bloom-beacon, for the Boston area SCA. All of the
mail which went over carolingia@bloom-beacon concerning the Board of
Directors and their decisions has been archived in the sca account.
If you would like to read this mail, type the following command:

folder +/afs/athena.mit.edu/user/s/c/sca/Mail/BoD

Once you have done this, you can use normal mail commands like "scan"
and "show" to view them. When you want to return to your own mail,
use the command:

folder +inbox

Last night, there was released on the Net a formal statement by the
Board of Directors; to read it do --

One more note: as things stand, you will *not* have to buy a
membership to attend the As You Like It event Feb 5th, because the BoD
has not announced when the new policy takes effect. It is the
intention of many of us to try to make sure no one ever has to buy a
membership to attend an event, but yes, the fate of future events is
uncertain.

Yours in service,

Tibicen
