When I tried to rent Tau Zeta Epsilon House, at Wellesley,
for my wedding, they told me I had to get insurance.  So I
called the agent where I was dealing with auto insurance;
he wasn't able to help me (not even with a price).

The contact for TZE suggested my parents take a rider on
their home, or pledge it as security.  They refused (wisely).

We ended up resolving it anyway by my writing them a letter
(TZE, that is), stating that no alcohol would be brought
or consumed, and that I would be personally liable if there
were any problem.  Thank God, there was no trouble.

(In TZE's case, their primary concern was drunkness and
its consequences.  YMMV.)
