Well, the summer is upon us, and it's time to start doing summer
things.  One of the things that were talked about at the end of last
term was to do a calligraphy project.  Anton of Winteroak, who is, I
believe, now the head of the calligraphers' guild, would like to do
lots of blank scrolls and scroll borders for Drachenwald and for the
kingdom of Atlantia, who is behind in their awarding.  For this
reason, I would like to organize a few calligraphy worshops this
summer, probably every couple of weeks, lasting 2-4 hours, during
which we would produce said scrolls and borders (or at least a
few...).  There is lots more to doing borders than leaves, and I would
like to experiment with different things.  

I would like to start next week, on Wed at 5:30 instead of our usual
meeting, and continue one alternate Thursday nights from 6-9.  Next
week would be an introductory session exploring the possibilities and
skills of our artists, and then we could start in earnest the
following week.  I expect that we can have 3-4 scrolls completed every
two sessions if we have that many people working.  Of course, that may
not turn out that way, as I hope this will be a very relaxed sort of
thing.  No more of the rushing to finish scrolls at 6 AM... ;-)

everyone.  I would like to know who is interested and what sort of
schedule you are on.
