I realize the comment was intended as tongue in cheek, but when Carolingia

Umm, Iain? This is a grave error. We has that date scheduled well in advance
of Malagentian EKU. If, in fact, any one of us should feel put upon, it
shouldn't be the fine folks from Maine. Did anyone up there call Carolingia,
to coordinate?

Just for the record, the proper procedure for checking a date is to call the
regional deputy seneschals, as well as the Kingdom Chronicler. It is a wise
idea if you call your local neighboring groups, as well.

I did all that, and still got stung. I coordinated with Barony of The
Bridge for February 5th, and College on the Hill didn't coordinate with
their Barony. The event at Brown has since been cancelled, but it was
annoying.

Actually, we will be having an excellent tournament, a fine feast, and a
wonderful play. Sadly, two of our neighbors will be having events that day
(Smoking Rocks and Malagentia).

Oh, Iain? Time for some fence mending, son.
