There's been a "central" and "southern" principality idea kicking around for quite some time. I believe that the "southern" movement petered out, but it appears as though a "central" subdivision is still a possibility. The people who are doing the most at the moment are northerners, so thats what we'll be hearing the most about. One major basic question is whether the current EK should ultimately be split into two or three sections (or four!) -- I'm talking when all the dust has long since settled and the division has become a "sacred truth"... Should: Canada split off, leaving the possibility for Northern new england central new england new york/pennsylvania OR northern/central new england southern new england/everything else OR Canada/northern NE central/southern NE everything else OR Canada/northern/central NE southernNE/everything else AND where are the borders between northern/central, central/southern, southern/everything else? AND if Northern/canada goes, will canada ever be big enough to split off by itself? if Northern/central/canada goes, will central/northern be able to live with each other after Canada grows up and leaves home? If central goes, will northern be able to be an independent group, or be stuck with Canada when it gets big enough to go by itself... AND What about Naomi? Myself, I think its still a little early to be fissioning -- even if one accepts that it probably needs to happen eventually -- which I'm not sure of -- --Harald Longfellow (who has split this response into two for ease of reading)
