It occurs to me that many people might not know: there *is* a Northern
Region Mailing List, with people from all over the area. It isn't
currently having a flap over the topic, but I suspect that's because
Danulf and I (as well as many others) have hashed out most of the
issues there quite a number of times over the past year. Many of my
wider-scale impressions of the mood of the region comes from that list,
and from corresponding with the people on it...
