In the midst of all this turmoil, let us return to the actual activities of
the SCA.

Because of a severe lack of parking around Caitlin's house, we have moved
heraldry to my home tomorrow night, at 7 pm. My house is T accessible, and
I would urge folks to consider using the T, as the parking situation near my
house is barely manageable.

I don't have the formal directions to my house with me, the ones that I have
play tested over and over again. Below is a fresh shot.

Mark Schuldenfrei, 84 Egerton Road, Arlington MA, 617 648 5326

By Car:
From the 128 area: Take 128 to Route 2 East, to Lake Street in Arlington.
At the base of the ramp make a right. Take Lake Street to the end (less
than one mile). Make a right onto Mass. Ave, and the first legal right
(2nd street) onto Egerton Road. My house is a block and a half down, on
the left. Use the right hand door.

From the Cambridge/Boston/Areas: Take your best route to Massachusetts
Avenue at the Cambridge/Arlington border (Northbound). The border is
where Route 16 crosses Mass. Ave. Stay on Mass Ave, pass the first
traffic light, and about 5 streets up on the left will be Egerton. Its
just after the D'Agostinos and opposite the BayBank ATM. Follow a block
and a half down, on the left, use the right hand door.

By T:
Bus (The Easy Way): Take the #77 (Arlington Heights) bus from Harvard
Square. Once you cross into Arlington, get off at the third stop. Continue
in the same direction of travel (North) and cross the street. Egerton is
on the left, just after the D'Agostinos. Follow Egerton 1.5 blocks, go
in the house, use the right hand door.

Train: (Harder): Take the red line to Alewife. Go out the passenger
pickup area, out to the street, and face right. In the distance is a
bridge. Walk under that bridge. Follow the path through the park, walking
to the right of the parking lot. There will be a street sign for Varnum
Street. (If you start down a tree lined bicycle path, or start passing
houses, you missed the turn off for Varnum). You should come out at
the corner of Brooks and Varnum. Take Brooks, and Egerton is the 5th
street on the right. My house is 1/2 block down on the right, use the
right hand door to get in.

You can cheat: it doesn't run very often, but you can sometimes catch the
#79 bus that runs from Alewife to Mass Ave. If you can, do, and follow the
  bus directions above.
