greetings cousins,
the following are directions to the pikestaff lick and stamp
party on thursday, february 17, at 7pm at juliana, roselyne, and daniel's
house.  pray come, be merry, and help our kingdom. nay our society by the
dissemination of information.  :)


by t:

take the red line outbound towards alewife.  get off at davis square which
is the second to last stop on this line.  go left just past the token
booths, in the direction of the sign that says 'clarendon'.  go up the 2
escalators and wait by the bus stop on the left side of the station. 
catch the 87 or 88 bus.  get off at the 'clarendon nursing home'.  walk
down the rest of the block toward the johnnie foodmaster grocery store. 
follow from ** below.

by car:

from the north, south and west:
take your best route to route 128 (interstate 95).  go the appropriate
direction until you see the route 2 exit.  take route 2 west toward
arlington/cambridge.  get into the left hand lane.  you will soon see
signs for the alewife t stop.  when the t stop is to your right, you will
be veering left to get onto route 16.  there will also be a sign that says
'tufts university' at this point.  follow the road as it curves to
ultimately go straight.  the first major intersection is with mass. ave. 
continue from * below.

from the east:
take your best route to mass. ave going west.  follow mass. ave. until it
intersects with alewife brook parkway (route 16).  there is a mobil
station at this corner.  turn right to be on alewife brook parkway. 
follow from * below.

*   continue going straight.  the next major intersection is with
broadway.  there is a johnnie foodmaster grocery store on your right. PARK
here.  congratulations - you have found parking in the area.  get out of
your car and continue from ** below.

**  walk alone alewife brook parkway (route 16) in the same direction you
were driving towards.  note another sign that says 'tufts university'. 
you are now at the intersection of alewife brrok parkway and powderhouse
boulevard.  cross the street towards the row of two-family houses.  you
are still on alewife.  turn left and walk up about 6-8 houses until you
see a gray one with curvy bits on the porch.  there should also be a
banner hanging to indicate that this is the right place.
