We tend to forget that our "years" are actually ordinal numbers (1st, 2nd,
3rd) rather than cardinal numbers (1, 2, 3) and thereby end up hearing 
people argue, for example, about whether the 21st century will start on
1 Jan 2000 (wrong) or 1 January 2001 (right.)  On a purely practical basis,
this confusion will mean putting up with  two full years of "End of the 
Century Sales."					--Jeremy de Merstone
