I think this is a grand idea.  I've been thinking about autocratting an event
(originally I was thinking about this fall, but now next spring or summer)
for a while; I haven't done anything with the idea since the BoD mess broke
out -- largely because the Board has made it impossible for me to make
long-term committments within the Society, since I would not be able to 
honor them if the BoD gets its way).  So, if you want the signature of a
potential future autocrat, please sign me on to this pledge.
