Survivors of these conflicts shuddered at whispered epiithets such as " the grey goose cloud" and " whisteling death." In mortal fear of the devastation they caused , the French placed bounties on English archers, cutting off their fingers to remove them as a threat in battle..... The Company of the Blank Prince is a group of Professional Archers from Caergwrle, Wales. Providing a unique glimpse into medieval Britain during the period of the Hundred Years War. Days when the longbowman was respected and often times as feared as knights themselves. Their weapons and costumes have been researched to be as historically accurate as possible to make their program informative and enjoyable.
