While we're on the subject, I'm running the feast for this event, and
could definitely use some during-the-event help cooking, as well as
probably one or two people the day before. Several people have already
talked to me about this, and I've got you written down, but it would
comfort me to get a confirmation that you are coming to the event; one
or two people who had expressed some interest turn out not to be coming.
So if you think that you can spare some time in the kitchen during the
day, or maybe on Friday, please talk to me.

(And my apologies to the folks who were hoping to help with the
reconstruction effort. I never quite got my act together enough to
schedule something, so I've wound up doing the reconstruction on
random evenings and other interstices of time...)
