Normally I don't forward messages mistakenly sent to
carolingia@bloom-beacon instead of carolingia-request@bloom-beacon,
but this just couldn't be left to drop on the floor.

*Justin writes (and I paraphrase):
*>I've never cared for "Vinland", but that's because my persona is a far cry
*>from Norse.
*
* But is your persona Carolingian?
*
* -Iain, who now points out that the above is assuming that Justin lives in
* Carolingia and is intended as firmly tongue in cheek; no insult or slight
*   implied.

Ah, Iain, There are few folk as "Carolingian" as Master Justin
DuCouer. A "Peer", but of whom? As a Scholar, a Dancer and a
Diplomat Justin has few peers in this world. He is a Gentleman who
brings honor to Carolingia in both word and deed. Not that those
qualities are not to be found outside Carolingia, but they are the
things for which She is famed (at least they are the _positive_
qualities for which she is famed...).

-Richard DeLacy (who is shortly moving back from the Lovely Barony of
the Bridge to his Beloved Carolingia: look for him in March at a
Buttery near you!)
