  Is there any possiblity of making a mailing list specifically for the
  BoD discussion?  I, for one, am much more interested in reading about
  event announcements, etc, when I am pressed for time.
  

There are national ones already.  Did you mean a Carolingian one?  If you
are interested in the national ones, please contact me privately.
