Actually, I wasn't thinking of the chord progression, but rather of the 
fact that there were *24* variations - the wonderful Welsh magic number, at 
least related to things bardic (did you know that all the pieces in ap Huw 
can be played using 24 strings?) - and that the type of variations reminded 
me of some of the formulas applied in the Penlyn section of the ap Huw 
manuscript.  If you like, I'll follow up on this via private e-mail - this 
is an open invitation to anyone interested in discussing ap Huw related 
issues.
