{\Large Event Subsidy Policy}

{\bf 1.} The event fees of people attending their first event as
Carolingians will be fully subsidized to the extent which the
Financial Board of the UA (FinBoard) allocations make possible. This
will be done on a ``first come, first served'' basis in the case of
insufficient funds. Pennsic will not be considered a first event
under this clause.

{\bf 2.} Allocations for Pennsic will be made seperately. The funds
will be divided equally (total/person) among those who went.
Exceptions considered.

{\bf 3.} The Provost of Mitgaard is responsible for ensuring that a
record is made at each event which is attended by Mitgaard. This
record will include at least a list of the Mitgaardi in attendance
(both Scadian and Mundane names) and the fees payed by each
individual. It is the responsibility of each Mitgaardi in attendance
to establish the existance and veracity of his or her own entry in the
record; any errors must be corrected within one week of the event.

Towards the end of each term, each person's expenditures will
be totalled, excepting those from first events. There will be a
meeting held towards the end of the term. This meeting will be
announced no less than 2 weeks in advance to each individual who
appears in the event attendance record for that term. At this meeting
all remaining FinBoard alloctations for event fees will be divided
among those present ant the proxies of those absent, proportionate to
the amount each person spent.

Proposed revision, section 3:

{\bf 3.} The Provost of Mitgaard is responsible for ensuring that a
designated record is brought back from each event which is attended by
Mitgaard. This record must be in writing, and should be signed by the
gatekeeper so that it can be used as a receipt. It will include at
least a list of the Mitgaardi in attendance (both Scadian and Mundane
names) and the fees payed by each individual. It is the
responsibility of each Mitgaardi in attendance to establish the
existance and veracity of his or her own entry in the record; any
errors must be corrected within one week of the event.
