Wang, a currently 4th year graduate student pursuing a Ph.D Degree in Electrical Engineering (Course 6) and Irwin Mark Jacobs Presidental Fellow ( (thanks to the generosity of Irwin Jacobs, founding chairman of Qualcomm) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where I am working under Dr. James L. Kirtley Jr. at the Research Laboratoy of Electronics. My research focuses on modeling and optimization of smart micro-grid system with high penetration of electric vehicles and energy storage systems via AI-enbaled technologies, as well as design, modeling, and test of the medium and large-sized electrical machinery for next-generatoin wind turbine systems, in a joint collaboration with Masdar Institute of Technology, Abu Dhabi, UAE.
