I have two worm bins in my kitchen to compost food scraps. The worms
are a mix of european nightcrawlers and red wigglers from
www.thewormdude.com. The bins
are from Home Depot.
The worms live in bedding that's shredded paper and cardboard that's
been soaked in water and wrung out (old copies of The Tech are an easy
source). They eat both the bedding and the
food I add.
These guys are basically living in the pair of moldy bananas that I
threw in whole. They've eaten the insides and are working on the
skins.
Look, a pet that doesn't bite!
