I can now achieve a limitted reprogramming, but it requires operating on the subject in the lab for 48 hours. Obviously it would be very suspicious if the Senator disapeared for 48 hours, and it is possible that his doctors would be able to detect the effects of the reprogramming if they were suspicious.
