This was a prototype book for Frank & Rosa's Guest Book to verify that I could do a decent coptic binding as well as to explore some possible solutions to the technical issues around putting vellum separators between the cardstock pages.

I had to rip out the binding twice before I got it right, but the third time was the charm. The Coptic binding is officially doable.
What the decorative edging looks like on the inside.
Option 1 for getting a single sheet of vellum in the centers of the signatures. This one is not so nice looking.
What the decorative egding looks like when glued to the vellum with glue sitck: bumpy & not stellar (but not awful).

Since the vellum is see through, the other side of the sheets with the edging papers glued on are not so attractive.
