In particular, I would like to know: 1) How and why was my interest miscalculated? 2) How many accounts, in total, were affected by this error? 3) What have you done to correct the error for all affected accounts? 4) When and how do you intend to notify the customers who were affected and apologize to them for the error? Consider carefully your answers to these questions, because you may be hearing them again from the Boston Globe, the Boston Herald, the Allston/Brighton Tab, the Massachusetts Division of Banks, and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, all of whom I intend to contact about this matter in one week. I hope I have made it clear that I will no longer tolerate being ignored, lied to or given a runaround.
