Waltz lessons and dancing

Our next waltz will be Saturday, May 12, 2018, but at 3 p.m. (not 7:30 as in the past) because of instructor availability.

This is the third lesson in our series, but please come even if you didn't come to the first lesson! This time, we will introduce Cross-Step waltz, a waltz variation done to slower music.

Richard Powers (who popularized this dance form around the world) has a very informative website about cross-step, including a video, if you'd like a better idea of what we will be learning.

Free and open to the public. No partner required. If possible, please wear slightly slippery shoes that you can turn and pivot in, as that will make waltzing much, much easier.

Stay tuned to this webpage or the mailing list for updates.
