How to Participate in the Science Extravaganza
Science Extravaganza is open to all middle and high school students. Students are encouraged to come and enjoy a very interesting and fun-filled day. The event is free and students need to submit a liability waiver in order to participate. The English version of the form can be found here while the Spanish version can be found here.This document must be submitted to the MIT Chapter of MAES before or on the day of the event. This form must be on file with the MAES Chapter or students will not be able to particpate. Please send the completed liability waiver to:

The event will be held on the MIT's campus, in La Sala de Puerto Rico located on the second floor of the Stratton Student Center and in lecture room 26-100, on Saturday March 6th, 2010. The event will start promptly at 9:00 a.m. and end around 5:00 p.m. There will be registration tables at both 26-100 and La Sala de Puerto Rico.
Event participants can use the MIT West Parking garage, located on 125 Vassar Street. Please note that there is a $5 parking fee associated for parking at this garage. Other public parking facilities located around the MIT campus are found at:
- 4 Cambridge Center (Entrance on Ames St. or Broadway)
- 5 Cambridge Center, East Garage (Ames St./Broadway)
- 7 Cambridge Center, West Garage (Ames St./Galileo Way)
- 10 Cambridge Center, North Garage (Binney St. off Broadway)
- 55 Franklin St. Garage, University Park
