  MIT's Lobby 7 is under reconstruction. The scaffolding is interestingly geometric and spacefilling. Images taken 2001-04-27 around 11pm.

  Brush-burning party 2001-04-21. Concord allows burning of treefall and other yard waste up to the end of April, if you check with the fire department first and put it out by 4pm. A little early, but still a good time for a cookout!
• "Gumdrop" machine - Daewoo Qrium 650cdm
  "Gumdrop" machine - Daewoo Qrium 650cdm. Cheap p3/700 (because it was available surplus); funky colors, odd size and shape (about the dimensions of a bowling ball.) Turns out that the motherboard won some award from Intel; the system is "legacy-free" but still makes an OK Linux server.

• Sudbury River Flood
  The Sudbury River, in Concord, 2001-03-23, rather far above its banks due to 2 days of heavy rain and melting. These pictures were taken late in the afternoon, after the rain had pretty much stopped.

  My New Toy, a 2000 AM General "Hummer". The Hummer is the civilian version of the HMMWV or "hum-vee" jeep-replacement. Hummer is also Swedish for Lobster...
