Leadership for sustainable technology-enabled education
In his work as Senior Asociate Dean and Director of the Office of Educational Innovation and Technology (OEIT) and Strategic Advisor for the Office of Dogotal Learning (ODL), Vijay Kumar Influences and implements MIT's strategic focus on educational technology. He promotes and supporst the integration of information technology activities and services teaching and learning at the institute and he provides vision and direction to the institute's efforts in integrating information technology across the curriculum and beyond.
Co-editor with Tori Iiyoshi of Opening up Education (MIT Press 2008), Kumar speaks on education, innovation and technology all over the world.
