Removing an Ethernet Adapter from a Virtual Machine

You can remove an Ethernet adapter through the VMware Management Interface.

To remove a virtual Ethernet adapter from a virtual machine:

1. From the VMware Management Interface overview page (http://<hostname>/overview), click the link for the virtual machine you want to modify. Be sure the virtual machine is powered off.
2. On the details page for that virtual machine, click Edit VM Configuration.
3. Select the appropriate adapter and choose Not Installed.
4. Click Save Changes.
