Adding, Removing and Configuring Virtual Hardware and Devices
Select:
VM > Settings > Hardware
Use the Hardware panel to view, reconfigure, add and remove virtual hardware and
devices.

To add virtual hardware or a virtual device, click the Add button on the Hardware panel. The Add Virtual Hardware Wizard appears, guiding you through the process of adding the desired hardware or device.

To remove virtual hardware or a virtual device, highlight its entry in the hardware list (for example, Audio) and click Remove. The virtual machine should be powered off before you remove virtual hardware.
You can specify that VMware Server should update the virtual machine's snapshot to
the current state of the virtual machine whenever you change that virtual machine's
hardware configuration. Check the Update the snapshot after changing settings
option if you want to enable this feature.
