If you're having a problem or you're worried about a friend, seek out someone on the haus team. Jay, Laine, Kristen and the GRTs are always available to help you navigate MIT's resources, lend you a hand, or just talk.
Come knock on their doors, give them a call or shoot them an email. Their emails and apartment numbers are on the government page. You can also email all of them at sh-houseteam@mit.edu.

If someone needs to be transported, call the police/EMT hotline at (617) 253-1212. In less urgent situations, visit MIT Urgent Care across the street or email the student Medlinks at sh-medlinks@mit.edu.
MIT Medical provides free STI testing. Call MIT Medical at 617-253-4481 (or your PCP if you have one already) to make an appointment.
If you have experienced sexual assault or harassment, dating or domestic violence, stalking, or find yourself in an unhealthy relationship, or if you are worried about a friend in one of these situations, you can call the Violence Prevention and Response hotline at (617) 253-2300 or email VPRadvocate@mit.edu for free, confidential help navigating your options. This resource is available to you whether or not what you are dealing with happened at MIT.
If you would like to see a counselor, MIT Mental Health holds Let's Chat drop-in hours Tuesdays and Thursdays 4-6pm in room 142. You can also schedule an appointment with MIT Mental Health or visit their walk-in hours Monday-Friday, 2-4pm.
If you are struggling with a pset because of something going on in your life, you feel too ill to take an exam, you are considering taking time away from the Institute, or you just don't know who to talk to, you can reach out to S^3.
We have our very own S^3 liaisons, Joe and Ray. Come by the S^3 office in room 141 during their office hours or shoot them an email.
