Mikele discovered that her father was really working for Brand when he was stabbing Martin with Bleys, while Felicia, Nikrowd, and Torquil have a secret rendezvous on a distant shore. The tension mounts, as the torrid love triangle explodes, levelling an innocent village of evil minions of Corwin. It is then revealed that Corwin is actually Oberon in disguise, as is Reynard. Katarina discovers a valuable family heirloom in the attic, an ancient blowtorch, left there by Eric just before he died mysteriously after having been shot full of arrows. A tall, dark stranger enters Lucius's life, but before his identity can be revealed, he is killed by a passing herd of bison. Vialle cries for the safety of Random, and is comforted by Llewella, who reveals that she is actually Oberon in disguise. Caine and Julian plot to become Princes of Amber, until they realize that they have already been made Princes by their mysterious father. Dworkin pretends to be insane, and watches Ophelia for her reaction. Claudius sends Hamlet to England, where he switches letters, and Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are killed. He then reveals that he is actually Oberon in disguise. The judge orders a second autopsy of Osric, and it is discovered that the body is missing. Ganelon and Lorraine plan their elopement, but then realize that they are both dead. Fiona rests at her summer home, thinking of the past. Florimel plots to steal the throne from Mandor, and in a conversation with Eric's ghost in Tir-na Nog'th, reveals that she is actually Oberon in disguise. Benedict declares war on the Mn'mnh'mhm, and contemplates a sex change. Liesl is an asshole. Phaedron is confined to solitary, and his eyes are poked out. He meets Dworkin, and they plot to erase the Pattern. Laertes returns from France, and Dierdre explains to him that Polonius is not his father, but that Gerard really is. He challenges Dara to a duel, and Socrates drinks hemlock. Keverian kisses Eon, and everyone gets very confused, until he reveals that he is actually Oberon in disguise.
