Jock Brandis is best known for designing inexpensive peanut shellers in Mali and his work with the Full Belly Project, an NGO dedicated to designing and distributing appropriate technologies. He's also an accomplished film-maker and author. While visiting MIT Brandis is getting feedback and ideas on new low-cost technology designs.
