Why Not Code for Netscape?

The SIPB webmasters are often asked "Why don't you use any of the Netscape/HTML 3.2 tags on your pages?" The answer is because we support the HTML standards, and the HTML 3.2 spec just came out recently (May 7th) and we have not yet had time to decide what, if any, modifications we will make to our home page in light of the new specification.

In the mean time, we want to aim to keep our pages viewable by as many browsers as possible, since between 10 and 20 percent of browsers do not yet support any substantial portion of HTML above the 2.0 spec.
