Eagle Scout of Amber

Subjectively probably the oldest of the younger generation, Keverian was given a thorough education in what it means to be an Amberite and frankly, he did not care that much for it. Really, what's the point in all these power games and political score-keeping? Keverian would much rather wander about shadow, explore, and make mischief for himself.

Keverian has a fondness for high places and can often be found sitting in windows overlooking great heights, and he is, of course, devilishly handsome.

Description

Keverian is 6' tall, light to medium brown in complexion, and muscular with rugged good looks. He looks to be in his late twenties and has dark eyes and black hair worn in ``baby dreadlocks.'' He dresses primarily in black, green, and brown. Some of his signature pieces include his dragon leather boots, a cloak that becomes armor, and a long white curved blade called Sorrow -- a dragon's claw.

``A dragon was annoying some people I cared about.''
``And you wear its skin now?''
``Hmm.''
``I'll keep that in mind.''

As of Mikele's wedding, Keverian has forsaken the baby dreads in favor of a shorter haircut and has grown a Vandyke beard, both of which combine to make him look a little older. (He is, of course, still devilishly handsome and also dances a mean Tango.)

Background

Keverian is the son of the Duchess of Finavair and Corwin of Amber. (Which also makes him Merlin's older half-brother.) He was born in shadow near Corwin's Avalon.

Points and Powers

When it all began, Keverian had walked the Pattern and had a few power words.

His points, as bid for in the original auction were:

As time progressed, he gained the ability to walk the Pattern in his mind, and acquired a Pattern sword. (``Cut from my father's belt.'')

Adventures, Exploits, and Other Noteworthy Information

The Black Knight, or ``I shadowwalk to a clue.'' Later designated noodle-headed scheme number one, this is Keverian and Mikele's first encounter with Phaedron, the Black Knight of Avalon.

Never Parry a Dragon Keverian and Mikele follow the silver road and meet a nasty dragon.

``You can stay here as guests, prisoners, or rotting corpes, your choice.'' Keverian and Mikele follow the silver road the other way, and pay an enforced visit to Avalon.

``Gas? Good thing I have a gas mask with me!''
