OEIT is a division of the Office of the Dean of Undergraduate Education. We collaborate with other DUE groups closely, particularly the Teaching and Learning Lab and Office of Faculty Support.
OEIT is a founding partner of ACCORD, the Academic Computing Coordination group. Along with IS&T and the Libraries, OEIT and ACCORD assists the MIT community in locating appropriate support for all aspects of instructional technology. ACCORD's mission is to ensure that all academic computing service providers on campus work together in a cohesive and transparent manner to provide faculty and students with seamless and responsive service in the academic computing domain. Further, it initiates and monitors processes designed to foster the continuous improvement of these collaborative service arrangements.
OEIT has collaborative relationships with universities as well as non-profit and commercial organizations through which we interact to bring innovation and technology back to MIT.
