Aligning OEIT Projects to MIT Educational Priorities
OEIT's work is directed toward program areas that serve to focus and align MIT's educational priorities. OEIT disseminates information and resources about technology innovations for teaching to faculty and students -- fostering communities, facilitating workshops, writing publications, and creating information portals. OEIT also collaborates with others to develop, implement and assess learning technologies. OEIT’s programmatic areas are driven by DUE’s Strategic Themes, with particular focus on:
- Advancing from Teaching to Learning in MIT classrooms
- Championing Information Technology for the provision of information to students and faculty
- Providing global educational opportunities that enable our students to appreciate and learn from other cultures
